God with us

Theme: “God with us»
Text: John 1:14-18
14. And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; and we have beheld his glory, a glory like the glory of the only begotten Son from the Father. 15. John bore witness to him, and exclaimed, This is he of whom I said, He that cometh after me went before me, for he was before me. 16. And we have all received from his fullness, and grace for grace; 17. For the law was given by Moses, grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18. No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, is he who made him known.
Jesus is the Word referred to in these verses. He still lives among us although he left with his Father. He is the dispenser of graces. The other name of grace is Jesus; he is the God of grace. If God is with us then we inherit his grace because Christ has established probation. It had supplanted the effort and the merit imposed on us by the law of Moses. Jesus is the truth; in Him there is no falsehood. The purity of his soul poured out before the world shows that Jesus Christ did not experience corruption. Sin has not found an opening to enter his life because of his characteristic holiness and truth. Day after day we contemplate his glory from his great deeds. By beholding this glory, we receive its fullness and grace for grace. Let us love God and align ourselves with his word in order to always accommodate him in our life. This is how God will always be with us thanks to his word which will fill our lives. Let the throne of our heart be occupied by the Word of God. Excellent Thursday. Amen
